- Strap placement matters. Either let it fall naturally over the front (showing the hardware) or tuck it inside. A dangling strap mid-air looks unstyled.
- Open the zipper slightly on the interior shot to invite the eye in. Fully closed reads as flat; fully unzipped reads as messy.
- Clean before every shot. Fingerprints on patent leather and lint on suede are visible in photos that look fine to the naked eye.
Don't shoot a bag flat on its back unless you're going for a flat-lay aesthetic. Standing or 3/4-tilted shots communicate structure; flat shots make even high-end bags look like sample-sale rejects.
